Three appliances with a quirk or two. Here's the short version.
The trick
It won't start heating unless a timer is set. To time things yourself, push UP to roughly 90 minutes — it keeps heating until you turn the dials back to zero.
Functions & temperature
Fan symbol = fan-assisted (the everyday default). Top + bottom bars = traditional baking. Top bar with zigzag = grill. Snowflake = defrost (no heat). 180°C suits most cooking, 200°C+ for crisping, 160°C for slow bakes.
Don't turn the dial right
Turning right takes you into auto-cook menus we don't recommend. Stick with the +30 button or the LEFT dial.
Drying
It's a washer-dryer, but drying takes hours and over-drying can shrink clothes — we'd usually air-dry. If you do use it, the DRYING knob (left): hanger = damp dry, cupboard = fully dry, or pick 40–180 mins.
Good to know
Don't overload — the drum should look about a third empty. Max wash 6kg, max dry 5kg. The door locks once started; wait for the lock light to go off. Unsure? Programme 3 at 40°C handles almost anything.
Other useful programmes
11 (Daily) 30°C — quick 30-min wash. 9 (Flash Clean) 60°C — quick hot wash. 13 30°C — sportswear. 6 30°C — silk & delicates (no spin).
